Is it really taking 45 days? I am on day 38!!!

What is ur scan date i.e. did you recieve any email from nvc that is when they received your mail. Because people here have gotten their case complete with scan date from Dec 1 to Dec 5 as i know and have see and tracked. You might want to call NVC and see if you have a checklist or something.

Congrats.... I asked because in timeline you have send your documents on Nov 30th.... Dec 8th scan date is quite long way...

So you send the mail on Nov 30th and you have scan date i.e. NVC received your mail on Dec 8th....something does not add up... Anyways best of luck to you

If Mariannamaui got her CC today....

Then i am hopeful that i will get it tomorrow or early next week..... Man i cannot wait anymore can they do it today.... PLS if it happens tomorrow i will be so relieved and enjoy my long weekend....

Thanks then i have a shot of getting it done tomorrow mine is Dec 10th.... I am praying to god i see my 3 N/A's tomorrow morning..... and best of luck on your journey forward you are lucky that you got through it and now can relax.

Hopefully you will get it tomorrow as it is a holiday on Monday! So that means they are only bk on Tuesday! But my case was very slow as I actually sent the docs on Nov 27th and they received them on nov 30th and only scanned on Dec 9th. My IV fee only showed as paid 9 days after I paid them! It has been a real pain! I hope they don't take forever to schedule my interview too!!! Good luck!!

That is odd... So in your email does it say they received the doc on Dec 9th which you got from NVC. Remember the date on which you get email from NVC is different than actual scan date. Usually scan date will be mention in the attachment with the email. Something like below:

14­DEC­15
Dear Sir/Madam,
The National Visa Center (NVC) received your documents on 10­DEC­15. We are experiencing a high volume of incoming mail at this time. Please allow 30 days from the date we received your mail for the NVC to review your documents. We are diligently working to reduce our review time and appreciate your patience. The NVC will notify you after our review if there is additional information required or if we are able to schedule your case for an interview overseas.

I sent them on nov 30th they took 8 days to scan my docs!!!!

Many Congrats Mariannamaui. I have a scan date of DEC 14th and just called the NVC who advised that due to the backlog it is taking between 30 and 45 days. I am on day 31 now so will have to just wait patiently but hoping to hear something by the end of next week.

I'd appreciate it as soon as you find out anything about your Visa Interview date. As i will also be interviewing from London and would be interested about how long it is taking now from case complete through to interviewing at the London embassy.

I am about to complete my DS-260.. My question is after filling the preparer information (which is me) for my wife, in the end ESignature section it says

passport number_______??????

whose passport number i am filling spouse or petitnor(preparer)
