NVC Filers - january 2016

Hi everyone! My case just got approved yesterday at Nebraska. Do they send a notification (text or email) when they send/mail the petition to NVC?

You will get a text or email from USCIS that says your case has been sent to NVC.

I filed a G-1145 and USICS only sent me 2 emails, one for NOA1 and 1 for NOA2.

I never received a notification saying my package was sent to NVC, neither the USCIS status page changed after NOA2.

Hey Soeren, what is your opinion on this?

Do you believe that a case is not closed until NVC knows for sure there is an embassy slot for it?

Or NVC can CC and then wait for embassy slots? Keep in mind that NVC normally takes less than 7 days to send the Interview Letter.

I lean to believe that given the small window after CC to send the IL, then more than likely a CC is not done until a slot is available, therefore that will explain why CC are issued at the begining of each month and then slows down to nothing until the next month. If I am right that will explain why we are not seeing as many CCs as the begining of January and any late CC are probably last minute cancellations.

Did you check and double check the routing number, account number and account type (Savings, Checking)?

If they stack the wishes from NVC, maybe.

But i think that it´s just that we have almost 1000 ppl every day that get AP,CC,Issued etc. And only a small % is in here.

So some weeks we get lots of CC and others almost non.

So for me it must be option 2

FYI the Case Complete email comes 7 days after case complete you said 1/11 you saw the 3 NA's than you should get email 1/18 or 1/19.

I did this time I submit it I double checked everything before I hit the make payment button. It could be my internet connection, I will just have to wait and see.

Well, I see a pattern in January, started strong and then slowed down to a trickle. and you are right there thousands of cases every day but the amount of people in VJ is statistically speaking a fair good scientific sample. ( I was very impress with the NOA2 VJ's predictions).

On the other hand I just took a second look to Dwheels76 spreadsheet and went back to 2013 and the CC are pretty much evenly spread out.

I do not KNOW what to think any more!!! I AM JUST RAMBLING, TRYING TO BRAINSTORM.

I read all your EP steps. And have you verified and confirmed with NVC that you truly have Case Complete? Just seems unlikely to get CC in 1 week of receiving documents. But if so that's awesome.

As I had stated initially the website showed the 3 N/A's, when I called NVC the rep they were in process of finalizing it. I never said I had Case Complete, just the 3rd N/A.

Since you are still waiting, do you have 3 N/A's showing on the CEAC site?
