NVC Filers - january 2016

Special thanks to "SorenHelmer & FrankJavir" for answering my question earlier..

Here are a few more

1. I paid AOS, its says "processing" , When i go to "Pay IV bill" it doesnt show me any "amount" to pay.. Do I do a review of DS261 now to get this visible or just wait?

2. I see some of you sent out AOS+IV packages BEFORE paying the IV bill or filling out DS_260, Dont we need to wait for the IV bill to say "paid" to see the cover sheet for IV package that needs to be sent out with the package? Please let me know if I can still send out these packages just after completing AOS payment.(Before IV bill payment process completed)

It does not show because you have not been billed yet, wait about 5 days.

If you are ready and have at least the AOS cover sheet, go ahead and gain time by mailing packages before fees show paid and before DS-260

As soon as the payment is made you will meet this

And when you're at the last fee, just sent all your papers in after that checklist as they give you

EDIT: Just to be clear, i didnt it before i payed all the fees, but i didnt wait for the last one to clear.

And for the ds261 my version was looked at within days after, so i never called them up about it.

Come on NVC I am tired hearing 30-45days for CC ? Second scan date dec. 8

What pisses me off is that there site, the email and the operator are not on same page.

It can be from 14-45 days if your round up all the numbers given right now.

Just started to hate NVC

Reviewing DS-261 is not a requirement.

I never reviewed mine and most non VJ member applicants go blindfolded through this process just following the "normal" NVC pace which is wait few months until being notified by a Welcome letter with instructions.

Reviewing DS-261 is optional but does not guarantee unlocking IV bill and/or DS-260.

Note: Can not unlock DS-260 without IV fee being paid.

Agreed on emailing the docs, guess it makes sense as there is less chance of something getting lost.

I read all your EP steps. And have you verified and confirmed with NVC that you truly have Case Complete? Just seems unlikely to get CC in 1 week of receiving documents. But if so that's awesome.

I am wondering about that too and no disrespect intended but not having a timeline leaves room for doubts.

In my opinion, timelines should be mandatory because they are like lamp posts on a dark road.

For AOS document, is Just last years tax statement or transcript enough along with employment letter plus last three payment stubs?

Employment letter and pay stubs are optional. You are only required to have the most current Tax forms and all schedules and W2 or Tax transcript.
