Just look recent timelines on different members, for me was 5 days, the same day that AOS fee showed paid.

Mine showed AOS paid and the IV fee, was able to pay the same day at night.

NVC welcome letter has a document cover sheet that doesn't specify it will go with AOS or IV package... How do I use this coversheet for AOS/IV package? These are two separate package right? Or same package containing all of these together?

I think NVC should publish the case and dates they are working now so that people know when they should be calling.... Like USCIS publish monthly updates to let people know dates they are working on similarly NVC should also do this so they will get less call and it will help people track there case easily....You do not need every time people calling to get a status update and always here same thing "Please wait for 30-45 days".... and if 45 days pass by then you can put your file supervisor review additional 45 days... Now that is the height of in-efficiency.

Nope only DS261 needs review. The DS260 will be reviewed later when they will review your case and documents to see if it is complete for marking "case complete"

Cover letters you get when you pay the fee´s

And mail both the packet together yes, just remember to mark them right and split them up in two under packet for IV and AOS each

That is an excellent question.

Use that list as a reference of what you need according to your case and place the documentation in that order. Do not use it as a cover sheet for either package. I hate how NVC can confuse one, I was wondering about their logic.

Use the respective cover sheets that become available as you pay each fee. They have the same mailing address but their C/O (Care off) are unique, one is for AOS and the other for IV. Use different packages clearly labeled AOS and IV and put together in one larger envelope.

Hey GauravAndGarwita I actually just got off the phone with NVC. I sent out my checklist response on 12/31, they 'received' it on 1/08 (due to it not having a cover letter, it took a week for them to be able to scan it.) so I have to wait 30-45 days from the 8th. I'd like to think it won't take that long since they even said "it's an insignificant piece, we just need it." But atleast it is moving forward, trying to stay positive through the frustration!

If it was/is insignificant, why can´t just bring it to the interview.

If you don´t mind me asking, what was the missing paper ?
