Ok, then you need the amount listed on TOTAL INCOME which is line 22 of form 1040 for year 2014.

I do not know what you mean by : "My salary adjust every year so it a bite tricky", I guess it changes every year, that is OK, you are reporting only one year at a time on each line on your I-864.

I'm just confused because my employment letter list my full salary w2 doesn't.

I read that link a nd couple other sites. My salary adjust every year so it a bite tricky. 1040 is what used

Use what is on your tax returns for the I-864.

If you income has increased drastically since you did your taxes, provide pay stubs and get a letter from your employer showing the increase.

Probably I couldn't explain it right. My question was about EXACT DATE of CC. I was not asking about the meaning of 3rd N/A. I searched all the topics and READ wikiguide. I'm asking it again Is the day of changing PAID to N/A same as the exact day of CC?

It is obvious to me: the subtitle in the NVC wiki guide is CASE COMPLETE.

Why will I assume CC's date is different from the one the three N/As appeared?

How important is to know when EXACTLY is the CC date for you?

I am just curious, maybe I am missing something here.

Personally I just want CASE COMPLETE so I can just relax from the NVC bureaucracy and prepare for interview regardless if the CC date is + or - few days.

I'm just confused because my employment letter list my full salary w2 doesn't.

Wait a minute, your W2 must state how much you earned during whatever year is for.

Your full or base salary rarely coincides with W2 values because there are many factors like overtime, deductions, holidays, etc.

Just enter line 22 from your 1040 as I explained to you, I do not understand what is confusing you.

Use what is on your tax returns for the I-864.

If you income has increased drastically since you did your taxes, provide pay stubs and get a letter from your employer showing the increase.

I am sorry K&K M, you are not providing correct information, submitting pay stubs does not depend if you salary changed.

This is what the instructions state:

Item Number 2. Current Individual Annual Income. Enter your current, individual, earned or retirement, annual income that you are using to meet the requirements of this affidavit and indicate the total in the space provided. You may include evidence supporting your claim about your expected income for the current year if you believe that submitting this evidence will help you establish ability to maintain sufficient income. You are not required to submit this evidence, however, unless specifically instructed to do so by a U.S. Government official. For example, you may include a recent letter from your employer, showing your employer’s address and telephone number, and indicating your annual salary. You may also provide pay stubs showing your income for the previous six months. If your claimed income includes alimony, child support, dividend or interest income, or income from any other source, you may also include evidence of that income.

In the case thatyou file using tax return is my understanding that you should also provide six months pay stubs and copes of w2. And I'm saying my salary doesn't not correspond with the figures on my w2.

Im not trying to be complicated just trying to be competent in my doings.

Why will I assume CC's date is different from the one the three N/As appeared? Answer: even scan dates can be different from the NVC's email notification. So we can assume there is a possibility. Evenif you won't assume, I can assume.

How important is to know when EXACTLY is the CC date for you? Answer: people are counting days one by one. You can take a look for case complete to interview schedule spreadsheets as everybody put their EXACT CC date so people can even count 1 day. Besides, my personal interest is my wife will need to turn back to US so if we get a checklist before CC and if we need extra documents etc. I would like to know exact date. Also people can have their own personal reason.

Thank you for trying to convince me about unnecessary point.

Had the same problem in Arima. I posted it so that the folks behind us could get theirs beforehand. I'm sorry you didn't see my post, so you could of avoided the wait. Ended up waiting about 4 weeks in total. You'll probably just get a checklist. Make sure you go to the police station every Monday or so to check. Sometimes they wait till they have a few before they send them to Cental to be processed.

There is a chance they may require you to send it to NVC, and not just to the interview.

Hi Stone23,

Thank you for your concern. I'm just updating that I finally got my PCC today and I scanned and sent it to my husband so that he can include it in our paperwork! He'll mail out the packages tomorrow....very excited for the next step! :joy:.....but not really ecstatic on the lengthy wait of 30-45 days.... :clock:

I will be using I 864, as my salary is more than sufficient to sponsor my wife. I am well above the 125%.My pay increase every year until I am topped out at 10 years plus we just get a corporation rate increase. But however, my w2's never matched what my salary is because there is a percentage of my salary that is tax free. Edited by picobenz

If that is the case and you qualify, you may want to have a look at using the I-864EZ. Less to fill out, and therefore less prone to error.

That is a very good question. I believe is worth to take the chance with a check list and gamble because you are gaining time by sending your package with out the police certificate.

If I was in your shoes, I would do it because if I get a checklist that will buy me time while I obtain the police certificate, if I do not get the checklist great, I will be ahead time wise and present it at the interview.

Hi Frankjavir,

Just wanted clarity on this info you shared to another Trinidadian on New Year's Day: Trinidad & Tobago has 7 cases, one took too long, so eliminating that one your interview date should be about 54 days after CC.

Is the 7 you're referring to on the spreadsheet? If that's the case, then it's less than 7 since the dates are far back as 2013 and 2014. The only Trinis who I've seen that have used VJ and kept up-to-date so that we're all aware are ShirazMoe, Stone23, cokelili, Trini_manage and myself. Also, based on the NVC case # assigned to me and my kids, there are 2 persons in front of us for our embassy in Port of Spain....I'm taking a shot in the dark here but I'm guessing that the 2 ahead of us would be Trini-manage's spouse and daughter....maybe.

In any event, we are nearing the end of this long and stressful road on our Visa Journey :clock:
