That is very interesting, same day is a record.

Phone NVC to confirm with them...

All the best!!

I'm in overseas and I don't want to call NVC and create any simple confusion:). Also I searched all the topics about that and I couldn't find anyone mentioning the relation between 3rd NA day and CC day. The answer of this question may also be helpful for other people

Thanks

I caught 3 rd NA yesterday. ( 1/11-In the morning it was paid and in the afternoon it was NA) .Does that mean my CC date is 1/11???

Yes, 3rd N/A usually means case complete. I suggest calling to confirm, when you can.

Similar story first scan date 10/16got a checklist on the phone 12/01...we later sent the document (Police Clearance which was sent in the original package) with the cover letter after getting the official checklist email and we got a scan date email on 01/02 saying our scan date was 12/16... A week later they send us another scan date email saying our scan date is 12/21... We calls yesterday and the there was no reason just accept it, new scan date. More time to wait. It's beyond frustrating.

People are getting bogus checklists even when they have lawyers and when they are organised. And the NVC can get away with just about anything. We have contacted our Senator but we're still waiting for help. We've done everything correctly and our case could have been over in November.

Let me tell you one thing i am not saying NVC does not give false checklist or sometime loose document. But majority people who get a checklist is that they do not follow instructions and part of problem is there is no clear instruction.... As per lawyer thing i have not seen a single person here who is happy with Lawyer....There is no reason for lawyer unless or until your case has some problems or is not a straight forward case. At the best what they do is they have many clients no just you you so your case is not there utmost priority. Trust me if you trust a lawyer you are fooling yourself only, anytime they send something you should ask for a copy to be send to you so you have a proof that you send it.

I can't lie that the lawyer has disappointed me but the reality is that you do this once (unless you are very unlucky) and there are many who have had similar or worse experiences without a lawyer so who is to say if I would be cursing bow that we don't have a lawyer. Hindsight is 50/50 my friend.

I can officially say I finally sent my AOS and IV packets to NVC!!!! :joy:

I sent it for overnight delivery and requested signature upon arrival so it should arrive tomorrow around noon.

Since I was approved for expedite until I sent my documents and pay my fees I'm hoping this coming part goes fast... hopefully no checklist!

I will call Thursday and see how they will go about the expedite...

In order to give you the correct answer I need to know what form you use to file your taxes, 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ.

Depending on what form I can tell you exactly the line number you need to use.

BTW, that information is on the links I provided to you few days ago, but that is OK, I will walk you through this.

Page 8 of : http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864instr.pdf

says:

For purposes of this affidavit, the line for Total Income on IRS Forms 1040 and 1040A will be considered when determining income. For persons filing IRS Form 1040 EZ, the line for adjusted gross income will be considered.

Yes there are various topics on 3 N/As, including a screen shot o and also is mentioned in Saylin's NVC wiki guide:

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

Case Complete

There's currently a way to know (not 100% guaranteed though) if you have case complete by looking on the CEAC site. If the AOS fee changes from PAID to N/A, (THAT IS 3 N/As) then I'd suggest calling NVC up pronto as most, if not all, people who have reported seeing this have a case complete.

Although case complete emails used to be rare for non-EP folk, it's becoming more common (it might even be that everyone is getting them now). But, they're severely delayed (sometimes a week or more!), so do not rely on it (unless you're in no rush to find out). The fastest way to find out if your case is complete is to call an operator at NVC and ask.

After the case is complete, the case is put in a queue to get an interview date scheduled.

Ok, then you need the amount listed on TOTAL INCOME which is line 22 of form 1040 for year 2014.

I do not know what you mean by : "My salary adjust every year so it a bite tricky", I guess it changes every year, that is OK, you are reporting only one year at a time on each line on your I-864.

Probably I couldn't explain it right. My question was about EXACT DATE of CC. I was not asking about the meaning of 3rd N/A. I searched all the topics and READ wikiguide. I'm asking it again Is the day of changing PAID to N/A same as the exact day of CC?
