UPDATE: I just got confirmation email about the choice of agent along with the IV fee invoice but when i went to the site its still not available.

I received the same email today. I just checked the site and mine is now available.

I received the same email today. I just checked the site and mine is now available.

Just paid it as well. yay. Now just wait for it to show paid and have access to the ds-260

Hi everyone,

So I called a few times 2 weeks ago to get my scan date and was given 12/18 the first time and then given 12/21 three other times - so am going off that date. I never received an email stating they received my documents though, just phone confirmation (of different dates nonetheless). Is it worth it to call to ask about the email? Has anyone else gotten an email with a scan date similar to mine?

Hey just came across your post. We actually have the exact same scan date as you of 12/18 and haven't gotten this email you are referring to about the document received date and processing time yet. Have you received this email as of now? If not, can you please let me know when you receive it? I will be sure to inform you as well since we're on the same boat. I have called the NVC several times and they stated that their system which sends out the emails has a problem and for me to wait patiently... :rolleyes:

I will definitely let you know. I still haven't gotten the email either. But I am counting the days until we at least hit 30 days there (10 more). However. Seeing how slow they are, I'm sure I'll get CC closer to 45. Ugh. I'll keep you posted!

Thanks for the quick reply! Well I guess I'm not alone then. The most difficult part is to not receive any correspondence from them and blindly wait. My understanding is that normally, people receive that initial "The NVC has received your documents on........." email within 2-3 days of the scan date, which is leading me to believe that they haven't even touched our cases... Anyways, I'll keep you posted as well since any updates on our cases should happen at around the same time.

My scan date is Dec 23 and I havent received the email either.

[spoiler]Green card I-130:Wedding date January 16th,2015 I-130 sent: May 5th,2015 NOA1: May 7th, 2015 NOA2: October 23rd,2015 Sent to NVC Nov 3rd, 2015 Received at NVC on the November 9th,2015 NVC sent letter with Case number on December 2nd,2015 DS-261 on December 07th, 2015 Paid AOS fee on December 07th,2015 Paid IV fee on December 12th, 2015 Sent AOS and IV package on December 17th, 2015 Form Ds 260 submitted on December 21, 2015. (Delay due to Ds261 showing incomplete had to resubmit) Scan date: December 21st, 2015 Case complete: January 29th, 2016 Medical examination: March 4th, 2016 Interview: March 17th, 2016 at US Embassy in Paris - Approved ! March 18th, 2016 - CEAC shows visa ISSUED March 24th, 2016 - Visa received this morning Paid ELIS $165 fee + book flight on MArch 24th, 2016 POE Chicago on April 13th, 2016  Received green card on June 8th, 2016[/spoiler][/spoiler]

 

Removing condition I-751:

NOA 1 Received: 2/5/2018

Biometrics: 5/25/2018

18 month extension letter: 8/20/2018

RFE: 2/3/2019

My scan date is 12/19 and never, neither I expect that email. Some people gets it.

Do not worry about it as far as you got confirmation by phone

Very nice... congratulations! Our scab date is 1st December, so I'm sure we are close.

Thank you! Yes! You are so close! I called yesterday and they told my case was being reviewed, I check last night before going to bed (1am Italy time) and nothing had changed. Now I checked and see the 3 N/As!

Good luck! And if you can give them a call, just to stay on top of the case ;)
