Hi, i am waiting for IV fee to be activated. called today and they unlock DS-261 for me, but they are saying its gonna take a week that i get an invoice. Ahhh, why can't i get the invoice now. Is that usual?? I need to finish that DS-260 once available. BTW i submitted the checklist, all the paper work delivered today.

Happy New Year.. I'm in the process of waiting for a case complete and interview date. I received an email from NVC on New Year's Eve saying to allow 30 days from when they received my packet to my interview date and case complete.. I hope I find something out this week.. Good luck to everyone.

Ps they told me no checklists are sent until they start looking at the case at that 30-45 range so that's why people are getting checklists at like 41 days, just FYI. Praying I did everything right and they don't lose anything!

There are ppl getting checklists after 14 days, so thats all about the case.

Hi and Happy New Year! Unfortunately NVC has increased the waiting period for Case Complete to 45 days. From what I see on your timeline,you sent your docs on 12/10 so I'm guessing your scan date is about a week after that.

You will most likely get case complete at the end of January/first week of February.You can wait for them to email you (which will probably take a week or so) or check for 3 N/As on ceac/start calling around the end of January.

A week after that you will receive instructions for your interview,when the interview takes place depends on the embassy.I would say most likely 1-2 months but check other timelines from your country and see how it worked for them..Good luck!

I think I was right originally, then I changed my mind.

I will love to see theirs case numbers so I can match them against the system I am trying to come up to some how predict when NVC issues case numbers.

09-08-2015 Express mailed my I-130 package to Chicago Lock-box.

09-11-2015 Received NOA1 via email with a PD of 09-09-2015

09-19-2015 Received I-797C via snail mail. (NOA1)

10-21-2015 My wife came to visit me on a B1/B2. No problems at POE Miami :P

11-04-2015 Received NOA2 via email. (56 days after NOA1)

11-08-2015 My wife ends visit and returns to Colombia to wait for interview :(

11-09-2015 Received I-797 via snail mail. (NOA2)

STAGE 2: NVC

11-16-2015 NVC received our case,(12 days after NOA2).

12-07-2015 Emailed inquiry to NVC to inform them my email. http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/contact.html

12-08-2015 NVC assigned case and invoice ID number,(34 days after NOA2) Case was assigned after 13:00 PM. I called at 12:30 then at 19:00 PM

12-09-2015 Received 2 emails with Welcome Letters for my wife and I, they were sent by ASKnvc@state.gov

12-09-2015 AOS bill became available and I paid it. (IN PROCESS)

12-12-2015 Mailed AOS and IV packages.

12-14-2015 Received via email IV bill from ASKnvc@state.gov and paid the IV fee.

12-14-2015 AOS fee updated to PAID

12-15-2015 USPS tracking shows AOS/IV packages were delivered to NVC. Waiting for a SCAN date.

12-16-2015 IV fee updated to PAID and completed DS-260

12-19-2015 Scan Date (45 days after NOA2). I called on 01-13-16 and I was told my scan date is 12-15-15????

01-26-2016 Case complete. (83 days after NOA2)

01-29-2016 Called NVC, I was informed my CO Interview will be on 03-01-2016 at 08:00.

02-02-2016 Received Interview Letter (P4) via email.

02-09-2016 Package picked-up by DHL at 15:29 Waybill 5992952011. CEAC status "IN TRANSIT"

STAGE 3: US Embassy Bogota

02-11-2016 US Embassy Bogota received my package at 10:39.

02-12-2016 CEAC Visa Status changed from "IN TRANSIT" to "READY"

02-24-2016 Lab exams at the clinic and Bio-metrics at the CAS center.

02-25-2016 Medical Exams.

03-01-2016 Interview Date (175 days after I mailed I-130) VISA APPROVED. CEAC status changed to AP

03-02-2016 Paid Immigrant Visa Fee via ELIS account. CEAC status changed to ISSUED

03-03-2016 US Embassy Bogota sends Passport and Visa package via DHL Waybill 2900131780 to Cali.

03-04-2016 My wife picked up at DHL sealed approved IV package and her passport with a stamped I-551 IV Category CR1.

I'm sorry to hear that. We also got a checklist just when we were about to receive CC, I would advise you to send the item they require before they even send you the checklist, that's what we did. The checklist came 4 days after new scan date, it may not semester much, but those days waiting for it matter.

Same boat here--Checklist on day 37 :(--let us know when you get a response, I will do the same. Hoping and praying that it does not take 37 more days to get to the CC!!!!!!!!!!

Called and they received my petition at nvc Jan 4th. Now to wait for the numbers , so 20 days I'd about when I should call again?

7/30/2015 Sent I130 priority mail to have tracking, I suggest you do the same.

1/18/2016 paid aos fee

1/28/2016 review 261 to get iv fee unlocked ( unlocked once I did review,was taking to long)

2/1/ 2016 sent AOS & IV packets together to nvc while I waited for iv fee to open to save time.

2/4/2016 paid IV Fee and waited to do ds260

2/3/2016 nvc received aos and iv packets(scan date)

2/7/2016 ds260 completed and now waiting for cc

♧CASE COMPLETE. .. march 8th

4/20/15 shots 4/25/15 rest of medical exam

INTERVIEW APRIL 27TH @8:30

April 27th 221g for additional documentation and placed in administrative processsing.

June 20th submitted evidence requested

AUGUST 16TH embassy called and wants a new co sponser yet he met requirements.

Found a new co-sponsor

Handed in aos sept 11th

Set 18th another update

Sept 28th update and embassy called

SEPT 29TH ISSUED FINALLY

OCT 2nd visa in hand

POE October 22nd 2016

They say there is no birth certificate sent with the packet, which is not true, we sent it. :( But, our attorney sent it AGAIN.
