Hey guys,

so here's a quick update, this is so exciting! This is so worth a try if you're all ready for the interview but have awhile to wait-

we were originally scheduled an interview for February 25th, which is just too far away if you ask me- so yesterday after he finished his medical, my husband emailed the embassy in Bulgaria (using the wonderful outline posted by dwheels76 in the first post of this forum) and literally within a few minutes they replied back and rescheduled the interview for Feb 10th!!!!

That is awesome and yes it does work most the time. Especially if you have the medical done tell them they know oh good they ready to go. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

If i book a flight to atlanta, does it need to be a direct flight to point of entry or can i book a flight with transfer in it on an other airport within the usa? Saves me 500 euro... does anyone heve expierince with this?

No your flight doesn't have to be a direct flight. I have many friends who OE in Abu Dhabi from Nigeria. Doesn't matter POE's are everywhere and stop many times. Get that cheaper fare and have a safe trip.

Hey guys got interview scheduled for 1st march...very relieved now...Got date exactly month after cc..This whole process is very stressful.

Just called tonight. They told me they scheduled the interview yesterday for March 17th!

CC: Jan 26th

Interview Scheduled: Jan 28th

Interview date: March 17th - London Embassy!

Kind of meh that it's not early March (and on St Paddys) but regardless, just happy to have an interview date. When do we schedule the medical appointment? Do we have to wait until we receive the interview letter or can we cal now? Thanks!

My Case Status just changed today to "in Transit" My hubby's interview is February 14 in Naples, planning on being there with him. I'm so looking forward to the next couple of weeks to fly by!

BTW, dwheels76's statement regarding documents being sent to embassy from NVC 10-14 days before interview is right on point. Once again, thanks dwheels76! you keep us all sane!

Congrats to all the Interviews scheduled today, I remember how happy I was earlier this month and I'm sure you all are.

how long does it take for border patrol let you true?

its not like a stamp in your passport and you can go on right...

they need to open the packet enz enz does anyone know how long rhis might take? 5 min. Or an half n hour?

When was the last time you called NVC? Ghana is a 2 month wait so hopefully you will get a March date.

The status tracker on the ceac.state.gov site only will be of use once you get your interview date. Only then will it then change to IN-TRANSIT after a few weeks then once it reaches embassy and scanned in it changes to READY
