I had my interview today.(I was so nervous) In the end CO took my picture album and the whole chat logs,call logs and receipts(the whole proof folder) she kept it with her! isn't that bit ODD? they gave me yellow slip (221g) for a missing IRC transcript of my sponsor. I've never seen a post about CO keeping picture albums and chat logs after the interview. They kept my passport too! We will be sending IRS transcript as soon as we get it from our sponsor.

Our interview is at the end of February and I just filed my 2015 taxes. I completed a new i-864 to include my 2015 information.

Can I bring a copy of my tax return and W2 in place of the tax transcript, as I am not sure if it will be available in time for the interview?

Are you putting info of 2014, 2013, 2012 taxes ?

2014,2013 and 2012. They're just about to file for 2015 this February right?

Technically you are to include 2015 income tax return if interview is after April 15 2016, But check with your post because they may require it if the interview is before April 15 2016. I just got this answer from Dwheels76.

You sure can. They aren't expecting anyone have tax transcripts so early in the year.

I have. They probably needed more time or the CO needs to show to a supervisor. Good they kept passport. Just get that transcript in. Congratulations.

Usually 6 to 8 weeks after you file. But I have seen people get in after 4 weeks of submission.
