They do. But it's always the last few days. Never the 25th. Probably will start Thursday. Hang in there.

For the US embassy in Sweden, the interview is scheduled within one week of your cc, then calculate the actual interview to be in the month after your interview is scheduled. I.e. if you get cc today on Jan 25th, your interview will be scheduled by Jan 31st and your actual interview will be in February. If you get cc on Jan 30th, your interview will be scheduled by Feb 5th and your interview will most likely be in March. Hope this makes sense?! :)

Also, the US Embassy in Sweden are pretty open to re-scheduling your interview once you have an actual date. I know many Scandinavians on VJ who were able to re-schedule their interviews for earlier dates.

Hope you get cc soon Soeren.

My interview on the 4th of February. :)

Question: regarding affidavit of support

Are you putting info of 2014, 2013, 2012 taxes ?

Or is it 2015 already ?

It's all about when you get CC and where you fall in the queue. The NVC will start plugging in cases in the time and day slots according to their CC. They continue until they either run out of slots (the usual) or they run out of petitions.

Also there's the window of time where they just shut it down. Normally assignment is a 2 week process. I think many embassies are pretty full. January and February was pretty slim so March should be pretty robust.

It has to do with the embassy. Some embassies keep their assignments open all month because they haven;t filled up the slots. Like now of course February is gone closed. The only folk getting February would be expedites and those who ask for earlier dates.

Yes sometimes people will get CC and a date next date. It's because that's what that embassy allowed for that next month. I have seen t with Pakistan, India it just depends how full the calendar is.
