Hello February Interview members!!!!

Has any one used any method to track the packages from NVC to your respective embassy?

I found this but do not know if works. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/302190-dhl-tracking-from-nvc-to-us-embassy/

Yes Frankjavir this is the DHL tracker but it's not an exact science since no one is given a Tracking number and it's really only a guesstimate if that's your package or not going to said embassy.

I always tell people if you just got to know call NVC and ask if your petition has left NVC. Once it has left you can try and use the EXP for your embassy.

It's better to just watch your status on ceac.state.gov to change to READY .

People forget that packages leave daily to all embassies every single day. K1's, work visa, reaffirms.

so my advice just monitor on the visa tracker.

I did notice it worked but how do you know when your packet is mailed? Same day of CC or how many days after.

I guess you know that something is getting there.

Whats is the difference between waybill and the long tracking number starting with J ?

What can I do with either number? Is it for just one package (visa) or a packet with a batch of visas?

You have to realize Jenvds is a expedite so he knew when things were sent. Case Complete has nothing to do with sending your petition. You have to be assigned an interview.

I believe because the large number of request to change interviews to earlier dates. I have been noticing NVC now sending out petitions closer to the interview date. Like 2 weeks prior when it use to be at least a month.

You have no way of knowing your case is sent off unless you call NVC and ask them. Usual tracking dates (The EXP) is Fridays and Mondays.

It's fun to track but like I said not an exact science. It would be nice if NVC had tracking #'s to give out. But I don;t think k they would think we would be that involved nor care about when we arrive at embassy.

Hi everyone...didn't want to jinx us by posting too early, but we were approved at our interview a week ago and we have the visa in hand now! :joy: I left a long review, which you can see in our timeline. The CO was great and could tell we love our fur-babies very much (he commented about them). No problems with my domicile documents nor my updated AOS (was under the poverty guidelines when I originally applied, but got a very big raise recently due to our pending relocation, so I canceled our joint sponsor; the embassy sent back her I-864+docs with the passport), though he asked for pay stubs for confirmation. After the interview, we both broke down crying (hubby's tears flowed first) right in front of everybody in the embassy. They must have thought we were denied. Oops.

Hubby already booked his ticket so he and kitty can join puppy and me on the flight I booked for next month and he's off showing the car to a prospective buyer right now. Ahhhh, is this real life?! Much love and gratitude to dwheels (what would any immigrant visa seekers on this site do without you?? (F)(F)(F) ) and everyone patiently waiting in this thread. (L)

Hi Dwheels and others,

My wife has interview in Islamabad today, everything went normal except the following:

-She has not asked for the Oath before her interview.

-she was told to collect passport in one month but never given any reason, usuallly they give 10days to collect passport. She requested to collect her passport in two weeks on which the CO says they will try.

-she never heard the CO says any words like congratulations or Approved your visa. But she did says the CO says something at the end but because of noise she is not clear about it.

Overall her interview was very short and was asked only 3-4 questions , they didn't check any documents except the original BC,original marriage certificate and wedding pictures. After interview her passport was kept, and she has not given any kind of papers(Slips). Soon after her interview her status changes to Administrative Process.

Now we both are worried and much confused about all this , why her status shows AP and the longer time for passport collection.

Is this possible to be put on AP without giving any reason or any Slips?

Anticipating for expert opinions.

Thanks and Pray for everyone who's loved ones are passing through all this.

Seems like alot was not understood so I really can;t say what's happening. Pakistan is known for mandatory AP even for women. I am sure that's what it is. Will it take a month I don;t know.

You could as the petitioner email the embassy and see if they can shed more light on the subject.

is it possible to be put in AP without giving any slips/papers.

Is this normal that the status changes from Ready to AP and then to Issued in the CEAC site, can someone tell me what is the normal order of status changes for approved visa cases.

Thanks-

Yayyyyy, congratulations. ?
