Just called NVC to ask if anything is missing from our documents, but the lady said our interview is scheduled for Feb24! I'M SHOCKED!

Hi to All of you , I just called NVC and ask about my interview date.The lady told me that an interview date has been scheduled for me on the 24th of february my CC was 4th of January.The lady also told me that I will get an e-mail soon about my interview and that e-mail I need to print the interview letter and then take it to do my medical examination, is this what we all are supposed to do ?

Good luck to everyone, I feel really good and excited about my upcoming interview...thank you to all of you for your help.?

Congrats! and yes, you will need to take the interview letter to your medical exam. When you schedule you should receive an email confirmation and a list of items to bring to the medical.

The interview email you receive will have an attachment with items you need to bring to the interview as well.

Case was complete 1/8, called this morning and was told interview is 2/25.

Does anyone know if it's possible to contact the embassy and get an earlier date scheduled if possible? My husband and I are possibly having to look at a waiver and I need it to be done and filed ASAP if so. I'm getting farther along in my pregnancy and don't want to be apart anymore.

Once your case file reaches the embassy you are free to email them and request an earlier date. So just keep monitoring when it gets there. Noticing they are holding many cases until about 2 weeks before interview so doesn't leave too much room for change. See the first post for example of a letter someone wrote.

Have you called NVC and asked them? When was the last time you called and did you verify your case complete date?

The petitioner is a citizen right not a LPR?

i have been calling and i just got off the phone some few minutes ago.. and the rep told me same thing.. we will contact you when an interview is set for you.. the petitioner is a US citizen.... please what more can i do at this stage.... am so worried
