Has anybody from Mumbai,India got interview date recently?

Good morning Vjers family, my stepdaughter did her medical on the 19th of Jan in jamaica, on the paper they gave her said 3 vaccines r DUE NOW but they didn't give her them.... shes is 12 will b 13 in a week.... do u think the age or did they leave before the medical was finish??? Plz help bcuz her interview is January 29th

Does anyone know if NVC will request more evidence? I sent in my missing document, however, I am not sure if they will request more..

What vaccines did they say were due? Your stepdaughter must have all her vaccines before being allowed to immigrate to the US or have a waiver from the doctor who did the medical exam.

No one can tell you that but NVC. There are people who have replied to checklists only to receive another checklist. All you can do at this point is wait and see.

What is the current time it takes for a case to be forwarded to Post once all required documents have been received?

RESPONSE: NVC schedules appointments two times per month on a first-come,first-served basis based upon the appointment capacity of the post.

If a case is documentarily qualified (and current by cut-off date), it will be placed in the appointment queue and a letter confirming DQ status will be sent to the agent. Most interviews are scheduled within 30 days of the case being recognized as DQ. But, if demand at a particular post is high, it may take longer.

NVC receives posts’ appointment capacity only on a monthly basis so is not able to predict when a

specific case may receive an interview appointment.

Once an appointment has been set, NVC sends a notice to the applicant with the appointment date and time, along with a link to the post website with further information about how to prepare for the interview. The case file is then prepared for

shipping (or electronic transfer for posts who accept electronic processing) and sent to post within 10 days. Posts receive appointment and shipment lists from NVC electronically and generally receive the physical case file within 10 days of the scheduled interview.

If you don't have what is needed you will be checklisted. Sometimes they will just case complete you and allow you to bring the corrected documents to interview.

Our interview data is 2/23, but medical and everything is done. Would like to find an earlier date if possible.

Does anyone have any knowledge about rescheduling an interview for a earlier date, before the packet has left NVC?

Until your file reaches embassy you are out of luck... Sorry... But once your file reaches the embassy then you can contact embassy and see if they will give you a earlier date... It is usually tough because most embassies are quite busy and that is reason that you got the Feb 23rd interview... also interviews are some what priority also like if you are US citizen then you are out of cut-off list and quota for visa class typically IR1/CR1 cases... not for LPR petitioning for his or her spouse....So based on this and once your file reaches embassy....you can request one but no grantee there...

Next week NVC will be starting the scheduling for March 2015 interviews....So i suspect you should get your interview date by mid next week....

Sorry can't be done you have to wait for package to arrive. And like i posted yesterday from the NVC forum they are having petitions arrive within 10 days of interview.

My husband visa denied because he admitt that he use drugs in the pass(smoke weed)however they gave him one year before he can do his medical again,but I am currently 6 month pregnant,he was suppose to be here for the birth of his child.what can I do?

Well sorry to hear. There's nothing you can do about the process. He has a 1 year Ban can't change that. You could decide to have the child in Jamaica so he is there. But otherwise it will be a year. Where he will be tested and has to go to counseling than he can have his interview in a years time. Sorry.
