Hi!

I don't know where to post this so I gave it a shot here. I was under DOT at Saint Lukes and was finished abt October. I did my remedical on Nov 25 and 2 weeks after, I went back for my Immunization. During my remedical, I had my interview with the doctor (the one doing the vaccines I guess). She just asked me abt my vaccines records and was told that I will only get 2 shots. Now on the day of my Immunization, Dec 15 after few hours waiting for my papers there, they simply told me I wont get any more vaccine shots. I asked them whether its good or bad and they just smiled at me. I even asked how could it happen and the nurse or the woman at the releasing section told me there was no order from the doctor. My friend who also did DOT got 1 shot. The woman said it depends on the age as well. I'm 30 years old and don't have kids and my mens cycle is normal so I can't really understand it. The vaccination form they gave me is blank. Its confusing to me as I understand, I need to get vaccines and its free if done at SLEC and expensive when done in the US.

Anyone who experienced the same?

By the way, am done with my interview and just waiting for my passport. Im still thinking abt the vaccines. My fiance and I are planning to have a baby once I get there (after few months) I didnt mention it tho to the doctor but was informed that I couldnt get pregnant for abt 2 to 3 months once I get my immunization which is ok for us so I dont know why they changed it.

Thanks!

Vaccinations are not required with the K-1 to enter the USA. But it would be better to get them at SLEC as they are included in the medical fee, if you have time go back to the doctor and get things handled correctly. If no time, don't worry on it you can get your vaccinations at the county health clinic where your (future) hubby lives.

Thanks. Im just worried abt the cost. I feel like calling Saint Lukes after I get my passport back and see if I can get vaccinated. Im just not sure if they will do that since they said no order from the doctor and no further explanation given.
