Do you mean the adjustment of status or affidavit of support? There is not an affidavit of support fee for I-864s filed in the USA.

ditto

if you would have needed to pay for the affidavit of support, you would have sent the payment in the packet, or they would have returned the whole packet with a letter stating that the payment for the i864 was missing

there is no fee when filed with the i485

You paid the AOS fee with the I-485 submission. It was $1070. If you are talking about the I-864, there is no separate fee for filing the I-864 with the USCIS.

The ones that pay a fee for the I-864 are those that have to submit the form to the NVC(Dept. of State) for things such as the spousal visa process.

If there was a fee that wasn't paid with your form submissions, then your case would have never progressed beyond a rejection for incorrect fees.

Hello VJ family!

I already have my EAD and my case hase been saying that it is ready to be scheduled for an interview fow weeks now without any update. It will depends on how busy your Service Center is, you have to be patient. I submitted mine last April and got my EAD on June but since then never received an update. It took me 7 months to get a Schedule for interview. No one can tell or advice exactly when you will received your Notice for Interview. I also based mine when I search for "Seattle, WA AOS" and I found a topic here in VJ with all Seattle Filers. I actually just try to forget it…. the more you anticipate and wait …. the more stressful it's going to be. USCIS are unpredictable….

I hope to hear some opinions!
