My husband was told he can re do his medical exam and prove he does not use drugs on April 2016. So what exactly do we do now?

He has been getting random drug test as recommended by the clinic where he got his medical exam done. I know I have to re do the AOS forms and include the newest taxes.

How do I get a new interview at the consulate? Do I just call and make the appointment a few months before April? Also does he just take these forms with him or do I have to mail them again? I want to know more or else what we should be doing before he can go in April.

A panel psychologist determined that Mr. H has a Class A medical condition for drug abuse according to the standards prescribed by the U.S. Public Health Service’s technical manual for the examination of aliens. The doctor who conducted the exam determined that his use of drugs was more than experimentation. Panel physicians have sole discretion in making a Class A determination, based on medical tests and the applicant’s own statements. To overcome this ineligibility, visa applicants must demonstrate they have entered remission by remaining drug-free for at least 1 year from their last drug use. Therefore, Mr. H must have the same clinic reevaluate him after April 7, 2016. If a year has passed since the interview, a new interview is also required.

This is part of what the consulate e mailed me when I asked them. His interview will be a year on April 9 2016 but he plans on getting his medical done on April 8 since it will be after April 7 (trying to hurry up the process as much as we can). I've tried calling but I can't reach anyone at the consulate, what should I do?

Has he been keeping records of his drug rehabilitation? What sort of treatment is he undergoing?

I was thinking of a drug rehabilitation and treatment programme. What is he doing in the way of treatment?

We couldn't find any programs were he leaves that would accept him since he doesn't have an actual problem. The ones we found he'd have to basically live there since it's a rehab and he couldn't do that for a year since he works and I visit every chance I get. The paper the consulate gave him didn't say to do anything like this it was only recommended by the clinic he went to. We asked them if getting the random drug tests as recommended would be proof he's been clean for a year and they said that would work. Anything to really help prove he doesn't smoke anymore.
