Can someone please tell me why CSC doesnt have interviews?

This is a special thing that happens mostly to K-1 AOS applicants (some others too) - their applications are being forwarded to CSC instead of a local office, and approved without an interview. Rumor has it that these people will go for an interview for their removal of conditions, but no one knows for sure, and I have never seen anything official from USCIS regarding this matter. Also, seems like only conditional green cards may not require an interview. All 10-year green card applicants have been interviewed, as far as I know.
