Filing AOS after Eligibility Problems [split topic]

I'm new in the forum i've been trying to post a new topic but I don't know if this is the right place.

It's about filing for aos, EAD and AP. Here is my story. I entered the usa on tourist visa in august 2001 and filed for asylum in 2002 and got my work permit, ssn and driver's license. My asylum case later got closed because i missed the judge interview and I was placed on deportation by absentia that's because the so called lawyer that was helping me was a scam he wasn't a real lawyer when I was scheduled for court he couldn't represent me he decided to hide the interview notice to cut the story short I never gave up I saw lawyers after lawyers some took my money and did nothing. In the process I got married to my us husband in 2011 we finally found a lawyer in 2012 who helped us to file for i130 first then the joint motion to reopen and terminate with IJ thank God both the joint motion to reopen and terminate was granted first then the i130 was approved last November 30th 2015. I was told my next step is to file for i485. Unfortunately this lawyer has more others office out of the state. He's now barely in the Massachusetts office and others lawyers That work for him are asking for too much money ($4,000) to file for aos when I found this forum I think it's so helpful and I'm thinking with the help of you all in the forum I can file it myself. My question is how should I proceed? One more thing my i130 approval notice states the beneficiary not eligible at the moment and until she files for i485 we will hold this notice in this office is that familiar to someone in the forum thanks for your help.
