Mine was about $100; it was a full silk gown with train- I found it in a charity shop when I was shopping with a friend for a formal gown for her, and bought it before he had officially asked me

Mine was a traditional dress from my husband's country. Was like 40 bucks....embroidered Kabyle dress ♡♡

I waited until my dress was on sale for about $500. It was a silk and beaded gown and a chapel length split lace train.

For the civil wedding, Mrs. T-B.'s dress cost $5 at a resale shop (no difference from full retail could be discerned). Of note, the civil wedding was on Halloween.

For the big bash, she went down the "Import Row" street and found a full dress/train/whatever-it-is-that-chicks-wear for under $100. Had it been more than that, I'd have pitched a fit and called the whole thing off (or something). Of note, the big bash was on Pearl Harbor Day.

Mrs. T-B. can still (almost) squeeze into the $5 dress. The expensive one is either crammed in a box under a bed or was given to her #3 sister in Ecuador.

Today (Dec. 29) is the 9-year anniversary of the first e-mails that Mrs. T-B.-to-be and I ever exchanged. My imaginary harem of 6 imaginary blondes remains furious about the obvious outcome.

I got mine from a Thrift shop..I had bought a $399.98 long flowy dress from David's bridal then I found this gorgeous "cinderella-inspired" gown for $29.98..I need we were meant to find eachother...lol

I think mine was about $250 to $300. It was almost 4 years ago and I don't remember. Just that it was cheaper than my bridesmaid dress that I wore later that year.

I was introduced to Thrifting through youtube videos..lol.. I get most of my work clothes from Thrift stores and an occasional splurge.

My hubby is going to be introduced to this life slowly when he gets here..lol
