Really? The thread content is talking about a Muslim in Cambridge, Mass. Not in the Middle East. In the other thread about the black Muslim, you were determined to keep it on track. So, be consistent or post somewhere else.

There's system to thread inclusiveness. In that thread he was acting black, no need for outside influence. Fat white woman wasnt acting white, so the thread expanded. Mosque firebug is acting like a white redbeck cuz he picked charcoal lighter for his accelerant. So he's acting like a people of walmart posterboy. Not acting muslim either. Nobody on the planet makes 5 prayers a day every day for a year thats a nutjob story. Really he could be anyone. Dark skin yes, but his behavior doesnt match. Possibly ethiopian, waiting for all the details to come out. Black folks wouldnt waste charcoal lighter on anything but the grill. So thread inclusiveness is related to the actions and behaviors, not the looks, of the person in the thread. You got to get past skin color dude and look deeper at the person. Until you do you arent qualified to join the thread police.

I haven't seen the word extremist anywhere in this thread.

I am most interested in hearing about how the basic meat and potatoes basic teachings are supposed to fit into our legal and political system.

last time i checked religious meat and potatoes should be completely separate from our legal and political system. i realize that isn't at all the case, which is why i'm pretty big on pushing the whole 'freedom OF religion"
