Marrying Korean in Korea and then will come to US after...what visa is best?

the attorney will likely try to sell you on the idea of telling your (new) wife to tell CPB that she, of course, intends to return to Korea, because of X or Y reasons (all phony), then have her lay low for 60 days, then wake up one morning (Day 61) and have the amazing mind change, have you file for the CR 1 in the US, and then of course claim that neither of you had any intention of circumventing the normal process.....if he (or she) does tell you this, run, do not walk for the exit, because that attorney, like so many others of his or her ilk, is a slimeball....willing to say or do anything for a buck.

Also bear in mind that if your new wife fails to convince CPB of the above fairy tale, her VWP privilege will vanish instantly and there is not a CO on the planet who will subsequently hand her a B2 visa.

Either do things the right way or....try the underhanded way....something that immigration attorneys are famous for...remember, that in order to become an immigration attorney, that person must have either (a) taken and failed an ethics course or (b) never took one at all...and © cannot outrun ambulances......if you got a chart of the attorney phylum scale, you would note that immigration attorneys are on the tenuous branch of attorneys ranked below personal injury attorneys....in fact, the lowest of the low....

something to consider.

Immigration attorneys are interested in one....and only one thing: billable hours.

She came to the US to visit me this past October on a visitor visa. For Koreans, it very easy...it can be done online and there is no interview.

If you marry and then try to come to the US on a VWP, there's a strong possibility that she'll be rightfully turned away by CBP. Having a VWP does not guarantee entry into the country.

I wasn't.

Regardless, it can easily go either way, especially when we're talking about two different countries of origin. They'd also be risking an immediate and permanent VWP cancellation.

There is a very long thread titled Yes you can visit.

Seems very rare for anybody to be refused entry, and the ones that are there is usually a good reason.

VWP privileges hardly matter if she is looking to immigrate.
