Hi,

Can I purchase my fiancé's airline ticket once he receives his packet from 2go? He will be flying from Manila to San Francisco, CA. I was wondering if it is possible I can purchase his ticket and pay Philippine Airline and just send him his e-ticket and itinerary. Please advise. TIA. :goofy:

Has he attended a seminar at cfo? he needs to attend that before he leaves, you can search cfo seminar for filipinos leaving for abroad then once he gets his visa and passport they will provide the sticker then you can purchase the tix.

No, purchase once he has his passport back in his hands with the K-1 visa inside.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

Yes, of course... once the passport/visa is in hand have him get his sticker from CFO then it is flying time!!!

And yes you can just send him the e-ticket and itinerary (may want to include a copy of your CC that you used to purchase the ticket also, sometimes the airlines ask)

No, purchase once he has his passport back in his hands with the K-1 visa inside.

Packet from 2GO is the visa.

Many times when the ticket user doesn't match the name of the card you need to go verify the purchase at the airline of a partner. Back when I bought the ticket I just dropped by the airlines office near work and showed the card and my ID then they noted the ticket as verified.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

IF you are purchasing the ticket. Make sure you send him a paper with a copy of your ID and front and back of the card. I did this with my then fiance now wife whenever I bought the tickets for her. Some airlines may or may not require it, but it's better to be safe than sorry. I just scanned that stuff and emailed her the paper so she could print it off for like 20-40 pesos at a computer shop.
