Hi everyone! I hope all is doing well.. :)

We got the USCIS Approval (NOA2) on December 8, 2015. Its been 3 weeks now but we haven't got any response yet from NVC i.e. received date, case no. etc...

I wonder what is going on now.

Here are other useful reminders:

Call NVC at least once a week to inquire about the status of your case they will surely give you your NVC case number. Don’t just wait for them to send an email to update you, be proactive. You’ll be able to know if you need to submit additional documents if you call instead of waiting for a notification. This will save you a ton of time and stress.

Even before your case is completed, you can already begin preparing for your interview. Begin gathering the stuff you”ll need to bring to your interview, especially if you live in the province and you’ll need to have documents delivered.

My fiance called the NVC and they gave the case number so i went to the online and check the status and i found out that our case was last updated 16th Dec 2015 and was transferred to the US consulate-Abu Dhabi. O

Once you have your NVC case number then ask your fiance to start filling the DS160 and and go to the appointment site and download the scheduling instruction.

your fiance is here in Abu Dhabi?

I'm new to this site as we just got our letter from the NVC with our case number, etc. My timeline is similar to yours. Our K1 application was approved on 12/7/15 and just received our letter from the NVC on 12/26/15. The letter was dated 12/18/15 but it was postmarked on 12/21/15. I'm sure it's on its way to you, but as the others said, call if that will help both of you feel more comfortable.
