Where oh where could my visa be?

Our visa status was changed to issued on December 9. So we started tracking online with 2GO and the embassy. The embassy states via phone that they handed the visa over 5 or 6 days ago. Upon tracking and calling 2GO they state they do not have the visa. My wife who is currently living in Quezon with her Aunt has left for a rural village in Antique. Now we can not call 2Go. The Tracking status states invalid for all three tracking methods. Is there anything at this point we can do? I have emailed 2GO with no response. Is there a number from the States I can use to reach 2GO? Please any advice on what to do would be very beneficial.

Try to gather more specific information and evidence about what transpired. When calling the Embassy get the 2GO branch/employee that handled your wife's passport. Get names, times, places, phone numbers, emails etc... Anything that you can. If 2GO has lost your wife's passport then I'm sure the Embassy wants to know about it.

As far as reaching 2GO I would recommend using Skype or another VOIP service (just load it up with $10). To get the phone number try asking someone from the U.S. Embassy in Manila. They might have direct lines or better contact information. Also try to communicate your problem very clearly to the U.S. Embassy operator and tell them how you feel.

After calling the embassy I would call 2GO directly and go through the same process of gathering information. Be stern and persistent. Let them know that if they can't find it that you will be following up until they give you definitive answers. Let them know that you are also in contact with the U.S. Embassy to resolve this problem. Demand to speak to Managers or upper tier people. The low level employees most likely can't or won't tell you much.

Lastly record everything! Create a log of specifics with notes from each call. It could come in handy... You never know

Thank you for the advice PHIL > AZ. I called and spoke with a supervisor at the embassy and she stated she would escalate the case because we should have received our visa already. I also took your advice and called 2GO myself here from the States and they still say that they do not have the visa, to call back around 4:30 Manila time to see if they have picked it up from the embassy. So I am I step closer I guess to finding the elusive visa.
