No NOA-2 for I-485

We are fillling the I-485 and realized we never received the NOA-2 after we replied to a Request For Evidence. Indeed, we directly had a letter from the the National Visa Center explaining they received the approved I-129F.

I don't know how to do because the fees are very high to get a copy of the I-797 and we didn't do anything wrong, so is it possbile to send a copy from the NVC letter and one from our approved I-129???

Did you receive an email notification from USCIS of approval of your I-129F petition? Some folks have had luck in submitting that email notice, with an explanation, in lieu of the actual I-129F petition approval (NOA2).

We only got the mail from the NVC, a copy of the I-129 with the APPROVAL stamp on it and a package for the k-1 visa interview but not an another form of approval.

I read that it could be possible to mail the letter from the NVC, the copy from the I-129F and the first MOA i received as evidences supporting the I-485.

As I understand they want the copy of i-29F to be submitted, because it's proof you was approved.. I never received anything than this.. This and one page letter confirming approval was all I've got from embassy after our form was approved..

People have been approved without the NOA2 I-129F approval notice. Print out the online approval message from the USCIS status online, and send in a copy of the NVC letter stating it was approved and sent to the consulate. You can search and find other threads about filing for AOS without NOA2.

"Case was sent to The Department of State" is the last update still available on the USCIS when i check for the status, is it what you are speaking about?
