Hi Vjers,

I need some help.

I'm in the process of filing an i-130 for my mom. My husband will do that (be the sponsor) but my husband will probably be changing jobs in a month or two.

Will his change of jobs affect the i-130. We don't want to wait wait till he gets his new job, other wise we'll have to wait for 6 months.

Thanks.

No, it should not affect the petition, especially as you won;t need to fill in the I-864 until NVC stage.
