and not just at the retail level. importers, distributors..the government gets its cut at as many levels as possible.

A bit off topic, but still about drinking and driving: My wife bought me a box set of Clint Eastwood movies for X-mas and Sat night we were watching Every Which Way But Loose. During the entire movie whenever they showed someone operating a motor vehicle, whether it be auto/truck or motorcycle, they were all pounding down beers while driving, mostly Coors. Something you'd probably never see in a movie today.

Funny how times change.

and all the Cig smoking in older movies. I just posted a thread about texting and driving. I thinks its more of a threat than drunk driving now.

I think it's say something about this country when Cigs are not allowed in movies but boobs are.

I agree, because almost everyone texts while driving. I see it all the time.

um. too be fair - boobs are generally attached to humans, who act in the above mentioned movies. are you going trump and suggesting we ban boobs? a war on boobs should quadrutriple the number of boobs out and about. PROGRESS!

I don't necessarily agree with this tax, but when the NRA/gun aficionados continuously reject any form of gun control, this is what you end up with. I can see this type of tax spreading in the states that aren't so pro gun.
