checked my case today at www.uscis.gov, it's updated but it's RFE

On December 23, 2015, we mailed a request for additional evidence for your Form I-129F,

Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number WACXXXXXXXXX. The request for

evidence explains what we need from you. We will not take action on your case until

we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires. Please follow the

instructions in the request for evidence. If you do not receive your request for

additional evidence by January 22, 2016, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to

request a copy. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new

mailing address.

I have to wait for a hard copy to find outwhat they want. This is what I sent in I-129F package

  • Payment in the amount of $340 (check).
  • I-129F
  • I-129F Supplement: Part 2, Question 34.a, explanation of meeting in person
  • 2 Letters certifying intent to marry (Petitioner and Beneficiary)
  • 2 G-325A and passport style photos (Petitioner and Beneficiary)
  • Copy of Naturalization Certificate (Petitioner) + US Passport
  • Proof of having met in person in the past two years (pictures)
  • Proof of ongoing relationship (chat history)***
  • G-1145 – eNotification
  • Copy of XXXXX passport used to travel abroad (shows border stamps)***
  • Copies of plane tickets
  • Copy of hotel booking confirmation (reserved online)
  • Phone calls and text messages data (source: T-Mobile)

*** I included 11 pages of WhatsApp chat. Also copy of non-US passport used to travel abroad showing stamps (I wasnt USC back then)

K-1 RFE Master List says - - - How long does it take to receive my RFE hard copy?

According the data it is usually 1 to 2 weeks. If it takes longer, contact USCIS and put in a service request to have a new one sent.

So, I've been trying to guess what they want from me whole day. I can think of only birth certificate which I did not sent (some say it's necessary, others say it's not needed). Do you guys think that's what they want or it's something else?

ps. Never been married, no criminal records

If you didn't send your birth certificate, did you at least scan all the pages on your passport and sent that as evidence of your citizenship status?

In that case, I can't see anything missing in particular. My guess is that it's probably something on the i-129f like forgetting to check a box or fill in a particular question; Or it could be clarification concerning evidence of your relationship/meeting. It's hard to say at this point and it's best to just wait and see what comes up.

Just checked I-129F, both G-325A - all good. All forms and papers were signed 101% before I sent them. I guess I'm gonna just wait then

Did you meet on-line?

Yes, on Russian version of myspace (almost dead now as original myspace) which is not international marriage broker - if that's why you are asking

I realize it's not a IMB but did you state that it was a website and the name of it?

If you just said "on-line" and gave no further details that "may" trigger and RFE depending upon the adjudicator.

Could be something as simple as a lack of signature(s) on the letter(s) of Intent to Marry. There are just too many open ends on this one to be clear. Best to wait for the RFE hard copy. Good luck to you. Keep us updated, please.

did you furnish them with an email address?

if you had the letter would have been sent there

I've done everything possible to not get RFE. I've signed everything, I checked everything over and over. One and only thing I didnt send them is birth certificate.

Unfortunately, I have not received anything from them via email or text (I got my NOA1 as hard copy, text msg and email

No it wouldn't. RFE request information only comes in a hard copy letter.

Photographs are considered secondary evidence, so hopefully you provided other evidence that showed you were in the same place at the same time. Did your fiancé physically sign the G325A and the letter of intent (copy of a signature won't do)? Do you converse in only English? Text in Russian would need translation. Are the passport stamps in English or Russian?

However, if you are confident that everything is fine, it may simply be a case of something went missing in your file and they need it from you again.
