The US is not short of people who speak English. So I don't think you will have much luck with a work visa as a n English teacher.

It's extremely unlikely that the OP will find a US employer willing to bring her over as a translator.

There are plenty of people in the US who can translate Ukrainian and Russian into English, and vice versa.

Why can't the translations be done in the Ukraine? Can't documents be emailed to the Ukraine and the translations sent back? Why does the worker have to be in the US?

If you are talking about verbal translations, who would hire the OP? Not normal folks. Is there an unfilled need? Probably not.

Would not work for many reasons. Willing US employer. Justification as to why the worker has to be in the US to do translations. Chances of getting a work visa.

No need to be rude. It wasn't just a random thing to give the OP false hope. It was part of the flow of the discussion & I thought, a good idea until you beat it to orange pulp. I didn't realize it was that hard to be a translator but I guess that makes sense.
