That's because the vaccinations aren't mandatory in the US consulate in Ciudad Juarez. You can get the vaccinations before the AOS after get married.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your journey.

You need to call the NVC to get your Case Number as follows (waiting times can be long, and sometimes when busy the call may not go through or lines will drop). Both the petitioner and beneficiary can call.

Phone Number: +1 (603) 334-0700

Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM (Eastern Time)

You need to have the following information to get the case number from the NVC, they may ask you for your NVC Case Number but explain that you are looking for it, they will ask you the next information:

USCIS Receipt Number (it is on the USCIS Notice of Action letters)

Petitioner’s Full Name and Date of Birth

Beneficiary’s Full Name and Date of Birth

Regards,

M.

Thank you so much. I actually called the NVC about a week or so ago and they did give a number associated with my case and said that it would be the number I would need to use if I ever needed to call the consulate for a states update etc...

it starts with CDJ and then has 10 numbers behind it.

Is that probably it?

Yes that's your case number.

Best regards!

Thanks again,

I have one last question. When I called NVC they said that Juarez had already send the letter containing all the necessary forms and everything that we need to bring to the interview. And it should have arrived Monday however mail hasn't been running because it's Christmas. Anyway, can we go ahead and make our appointment now or is there some type of number or something that's in that letter that we'll need in order to make the appointment?

Yes, you can schedule your appointment for the medical, the ASC for biometrics and the consulate online.

Take note that it's important that your fiance have the hard copy of the invitation letter - the packet number 3- because is mandatory present it in those appointments (make sure do several copies). Usually you gonna get first than your fiance because the post service in Mexico is not so fast, so I suggest you send it to him before he goes to Ciudad Juarez.

You get the in your email confirmation after sent the DS-160, for the interview, you are required to bring your confirmation page with your application ID number on it so they can retrieve your DS-160. You must bring the confirmation page with you during all phases of the application process.

After schedule your medical appointment (If you do it online) and the biometrics, you will get those confirmations too, I suggest you print those for have the info in hand if needed.

Please check the next link http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide in the part What to send to your fiance once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2) for be sure that you fiance have all the documents that you need in your file that you gonna take to the appointment in Ciudad Juarez.
