Hello good people and Merry Christmas,

You have no idea how this forum helped me throughout my visa journey. I am seeking help on behalf of my friend. Below is a summary:

1. Filed to remove conditions after divorce.

2. Got extension letter January 2015.

4. Got a denial letter Dec 17 2017

Reason to deny:

- Post office failed to deliver/forward request for evidence and ended up being returned to them.

She never relocated or changed addresses. She received other status updates (we been calling them as the case was out of the processing times and we received mail from USCIS including the denial letter.

Moving forward, they gave us 30 days to file a motion to reopen. Including evidence that this was not a fault of ours. Does this post office mistake qualify as one of the limitations of the motion?

I would appreciate any help.

Merry Christmas and Happy holidays.

Hi Again,

I've attached a screenshot of the decision that USCIS sent her. They idicate that they verified that the address was the same as on the original application. However, a post office mistake is mentioned as one of the limitations. Is she better off off with submitting a new application?

We appreciate any input.

Thanks!
