A few things of note: there's lots of things missing from this application, that pretty much everyone sends in for a K1. I'd also assert, based on his answer in Q34 and what we know now, how they met didn't happen the way he tells it. He also mentions a matrimony website, but doesn't list IMBRA. Judging from the numerous RFEs people get here for dating websites, that's another surprise. Again considering that in such a consulate would have a higher burden of proof, it's truly a big glaring hole here. They sent bare bones. Not even a letter of intent? And an open RFE. I'm guessing not a single person here would have ever heard of such a case like this before.

All of this makes little sense considering even after this approval, she still would have to get through a consulate interview. Something still stinks.

One thing we have seen people complain about here on a fairly continual basis (usually misstated as discrimination against the female USC) is that female applicants have a much easier time getting through the system than male applicants.. Female (and I assume many male) applicants get put through with this basic paperwork all the time - we see RFEs but we also see many sail though...

If i was asked to look at this paperwork by a friend I would say to them "This may go through just fine but there are a couple of red flags: You state you met through a matrimonial website but in the very next question you click the box that there was not a marriage broker involved, they may RFE that for additional information on the matrimonial site.. Coming from Pakistan/Saudi Arabia I would expect them to work her over at the interview so be prepared. and don't be surprised if it goes for lengthy AP"
