How long did it take to get your interview letter after you sent packet 3 documents to the embasy?

No updates yet. It still show the interview date as my last update. Guess I am being sent for some thorough processing :(

I sent my documents on Dec 7 to the embassy. Just wondering when should I expect the interview letter and date to be issued. I didn't know it would take this long.

Agreed with RAandSB. Easier said than done, but you just need to pray and be patient. IA things will progress very soon.

I am still worried you know. I don't want to get too excited and make any travel plans or resign from my job till I don't have my passport with visa back. I hope and pray this process completes successfully for us all very soon.

It is so easy for the mind to go to a negative place. I have to fight really hard not to assume the worst. It has gotten much better with the support of all of you. We will continue to support and encourage each other through out our journey.

Yes, same here. I tried tracking it as well, but I believe it takes two working days to print the visa and then the CEAC status may read, "Printed." Once it's done they will send it to the courier, AEG, and that will also take a couple working days. Thereafter, maybe we will be able to track it on US travel docs, but another way we can confirm is to call AEG on Monday. All of this will take 10 working days, so we will definitely receive it before next friday, the 11th. Also, dont quit your job until you have it in hand.

Guys, just collected my passport :dancing: Got the visa, Alhamdulillah :dance: Honestly, I am awestruck :unsure: Can't thank Allah enough. And, thanks to you all too for your great support throughout the process.

I pray you all too get through this process successfully and the soonest possible (IA) :)

Enter your passport # on the below website to track it. The status should read: "Your passport is Ready for pickup". If you want to contact AEG, call on (051) 111 234 111 and after the voice-over, press 1, four times consecutive. It will route you to another extension and they will confirm your passport status. Hope this helps :)

No we are still waiting for our interview letter. We sent an email to the embassy inquiring about the status of our case. When you put our case # on CEAC site it says ready. I am starting to get really stressed out.

Guys, this is an awesome thread. Lots of people getting the visa and 2 days ago my case status shows "Issued" :D So excited and Thankful. Does it mean my visa will be here soon? Will it first show "Printed" and then I will get the visa? Please shed some light. And CONGRATS!!!! to everyone who got the visa and GOOD LUCK to people who are in process.

Quesma, in my case, the status updated from AP to Issued directly. I never got the Printed status.

Based on my experience, you should have your visa in a week's time after the status updates to Issued. You will get an email from US Travel Docs asking you to collect your visa. Goodluck!
