Hello, i think i needed to resurrect this post.

My case is:

I am applying for a green card through marriage and adjustment of status. I sent the forms I-130, I-485 and I-765 together to the Chicago lock-box facility. I received the form I-797C rejection notice for all forms saying "the payment is incorrect or has not been provided". I sent to two checks for $420 and $1070. Reading another older post from a year ago it seems like at uscis they can't tell that I sent those forms together. What is the right procedure them? what should I attach or resend?

Thanks for the feedback.

Re-file, including a print-out of the current fee schedule (www.uscis.gov/fees).

Sometimes the people at the Lockbox are stupid, and this is one of those times.

I'm not sure what the $420 is for. But the correct amount should only be $1070 (Application/Petition Fee: $985 + Biometrics Fee: $85). There's no fee for EAD Form I-765 if you are filing it together with your I-485. HOWEVER, The filing fee for Form I-765 is $380 if filing ALONE without the AOS. If you are requesting consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), you must also pay an $85 biometric services fee for a total of $465. There is no biometric services fee for any other eligibility category. Some individuals may be exempt from paying fees.

OP's fees are correct -- don't know why the forms were returned.

I stand corrected and I apologize. Teeak is correct on the fee --> http://www.uscis.gov/i-130

I only remember paying $1070 and that's because it's a K-1 adjustment as opposed to K-3.

OP, what visa are you adjusting from? Your profile states K-3, but those are not really issued anymore, and even if they were, you would have already filed an I-130 petition when starting your spousal visa process.
