Hey guys!

So, we are leaving to Miami tomorrow for a week, and I was wondering, what clothes to bring? I see the temperature is going to be in the 80's, however, it also says it's going to rain.

Summer clothes, spring-like clothes? Is it common for people to go to the beach and swim?

Thanks!

Hi!

My fiance is actually from Miami, and we always compare our weather. So as you've probably seen, it's going to rain here and there, but that's nothing new for South Florida :) Even during a month like December, the weather is going to be hot and nice. Highs in the low 80s, with lows in the 70s...so perfect for beaching.

He says there won't be any need for winter clothes for the next 10 days. Summer and spring clothes will do just fine (don't forget your bathing suits!) It's very common for the beaches to be popular during this time because S. Florida is one of the few places in the USA that's still warm and nice.

Hope this helps, have fun!

My pleasure! I'm actually planning on moving there in April, so only a few more months to go! I've visited twice in the last year and a half. Once was during winter so I am an expert on the tropical weather there :)

Yes, the embassy experience was great! Glad to hear the same was true for you :)
