Hi All,

Just want to share my timeline from our interview date.

Dec 9- Interview

Dec 14- Ready

Dec 16- AP

Dec 17- Issued

Dec 22 (today)- Visa Packet/Passport received

I am so happy upon receiving our visa today. I open the 2 plastic pouch to retrieved our passport to check all info on our visa are correct. No problem with all my 5 kids visa info except with mine. I noticed passport number is wrong from EB to EC. My question is, how do I return this to the embassy? Do I need to hand carry everything back to them or just my passpot with my visa? Please help for those who have similar situation. Thanks!

Contact the Embassy and ask them what their procedure is. DO NOT mail it back on your own before speaking with USEM.

Contact the embassy, they will instruct you as to what you need to do. Usually they require both the package and the passport be returned. But call them to get instructions.

I had the same situation as you did. They put EC instead of the EB. We have to call them to ask for instructions, we told them I already have a flight itinerary so they let me walk in at the embassy personally handed the K1 visa packet to them and instructed me to wait for their call. I went there Dec.8 got visa on Dec 14. But we call them every day because I was to fly on the 16th. I believe if you don't have a flight itinerary yet you'd have to go the normal route of mailing the whole visa package via 2GO and wait to hear from them. But like what they advised you to do, call and ask for instructions. Goodluck.

On a light note I don't see why they are confused with a B and C. That makes us two on the same typo error. ;)

Hi All,

Thank you for all your response! USEM called this morning and told me they will sent back our packets with the corrected information via 2GO tomorrow. Now I guess I just have to patiently wait :)

Good news! Should only be a few days now before 2GO is knocking on your door.
