Well I got my Long Form Birth Certificate today via Purolator. So it took basically 3 days. Cost me $75 for the premium service and was worth every penny. Thanks for the help

If you are working, use the company accountant. They are used to taking calls and speaking on behalf of employees. If not, go to your doctor. Quick and painless...good luck on your interview!!!

Fingers crossed, you're not the first Canadian to realize this so don't worry.

OP's - can there be a note pinned in the Canadian forum reminding people to get their long form birth cert early?

It's on all the wiki's, guides, and NVC website.

Did u guys have all your information when u filled out the questions? Im missing my birth weight, doctors name and the address my parents was residing at the time of my birth. Was wondering how long the delay will be?

I didn't have my birth weight, or address of my parents and I paid the expedited fee and got everything right away.
