Since when did disagreeing with the political leadership of this country label someone an enemy of the state? To be fair, it wasn't Kerry that labels the Koch's and Exxon an enemy of the state, but rather the interviewer, but the very thought that you could be labeled that if you are a climate change denier going against BO and the current political leadership is troubling. Are we in a new Juche regime in the US?

"Despite 30 years of talk and climate conferences, global CO2 levels are not even slowing down – they are just going up and up and up."

This is basically true.. But 2014 could *possibly* be the year we reached peak CO2 emissions. CO2 emissions went down in 2015 during a time of economic expansion which has never happened before. This does not mean we have reached any sort of end, we still dumped 38+ billion tons of new CO2 into the atmosphere - that number needs to be moved to zero for the CO2 already in the atmosphere to start to be cleaned up - but it is a milestone (if it holds).. It will require the advanced economies to continue the current trends to offset some of the emerging economies...

This chart does not show it but China is now putting a lot of effort to control the CO2 growth.. Good thing since they were close to putting out more CO2 than the US, EU, Japan, and Canada combined.. The advanced economies have done a decent job of at least halting and even reversing the continuous advance but some of the recent climbing from emerging economies (especially India) is a bit worrisome.

I don't believe it.. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it. -Ford Prefect
