So my DS-260 was received at the NVC on Sept 30th, and they already had all the additional paperwork which multiple phone calls have told me seems to be good and all together. I called and had the case pushed to a supervisor on 12 November at 43 days roughly, and now I'm at roughly 38 days again of the allowed 42 days. They keep telling me my package looks fine but it still hasn't been done?

Today, I try to call on a few different phones, and the call drops as soon as it connects...

I sent an e-mail, but the odds of hearing back from that before the next month is over is stupidly low.

Is anyone else having the issues I'm having? My wife is crying and I've had to book a flight to tokyo to meet her for a week in January just because this process is sitting and going nowhere for no reason with no word much longer than we read it would or had been at any time earlier this year.

Thanks,

Tony

I just tried to call now (4:44 EST) and the same thing happened to me. It dialed, then dropped the call. I assume they are having phone issues...or have given up all hope and closed NVC for good. That would be my luck lol.

Heh, I called my senator and made a congressional inquiry because as I look around, people are getting their 260s approved that were filed later than mine but mine has no issues. They called the NVC for me and got back to me stating that its now marked as an inquiry for the senator and should be looked at soon.

I tried the phone just a bit ago and it answered for me finally, but I don't need to follow through on the call personally.

Thanks for verifying!
