Yes they approved me on the spot.

On 17th Dec my case on CEAC was showing Administrative Processing.

On 18th Dec it changed to Ready again.

Today on 21st it went back to Administrative Processing for few minutes and than it is 'Issued' now.

What was your interview outcome ims-2013?

  • 2 weeks later...

Timeline

My husband had his 2nd interview on December 3rd 2015. His first was last year October 8th 2014. We had to file an I-601 waiver due to his overstay years ago. Though we weren't asked to include anything regarding his previous criminal record (which was minor), my attorney included all the necessary documents and affidavits regarding that matter. The waiver was approved on October 21st 2015. About 5 days later, my husband received a call from the embassy to resubmit a new police certificate, a new medical exam, his passport, and redo the DS-260. Then about 2 weeks later, my husband received a call from the embassy to attend the interview on December 3rd 2015. I flew out just in case they called me in, which is exactly what happened last year. After waiting 4 1/2 hrs in the cold, my husband came out with a letter and said the Consular Officer wanted to see me. The letter said that he needs to bring a completed court disposition, which was in the file my husband submitted and in the waiver. When I went in, I showed the officer the disposition that was in his possession, and pointed out that it was complete!! The dates on it were backwards and the case was dismissed in court. When he realized the error he told me to tell my husband to disregard the letter but he could not guarantee a visa due to his criminal history. He said he has to do some research and let us know. To this date we have no response. The ceas site shows administrative processing and 5 weeks later the embassy replied to my emails and said its under "mandatory administrative processing." What the heck is that now? And how long is the "mandatory" process? So stressed out!! We've been apart for years and this is so hard to deal with.
