N-400 3 questions

Hi guys

I have 3 quick questions as things are moving in my life and want to make sure I don't miss the naturalization party :)

1. "You have lived within the state or USCIS district where you claim residence for at least 3 months prior to filing"

That is self descriptive, but to clarify if I do 90-days early filing, that is in essence saying you have to be in the same USCIS district 180 days (90 + 90) before you Green Card anniversary, correct?

2. What is considered a USCIS District exactly?

If I am planning a move from San Diego to say Irvine, is District the state (most people seem to think of it like that) or is District related to your specific Field office?

I'm hoping moving an hour away within California doesn't reset the 3 (/6) months ticker!

3. Early Walk-in Biometrics Apt

Similarly to AOS, it looks like the first "on-site" visit after filing is again the bio-metrics (the other 2 being interview and oath ceremony right).

Can you also do early walk-in biometrics like I did for AOS, or the rules for N-400 are any different?

I remember doing a successful walk-in a day after receiving the letter and it worked out fine. And I understand it is Field office dependent, but if it worked before for AOS it should/might work again ?

After 130+ views and for posterity for others searching my post, thought of answering myself after my own research :)

1. "You have lived within the state or USCIS district where you claim residence for at least 3 months prior to filing"

I was stuck on USCIS District for my question about moving from San Diego to Irvine that I forgot the first part of the OR which is "State".
Irvine and San Diego are both in California (same State, but not same USCIS District).
States and Districts are different, and not synonyms like I first thought.

2. What is considered a USCIS District exactly?

There are 26 USCIS Districts, which can either span multiple states, or be limited to a County within a State..

3. Early Walk-in Biometrics Apt

Seems possible as it was for AOS, no difference.
