You have call logs, pictures of you with family and friends to show all your visits. It's not required to have sms and such. Many couples don;t even have a computer to communicate you use what you have to show a bonafide relationship.

We are in the same boat...We don't have much of a communication log. Never thought about saving for proof as we met years ago. A few photos and tickets to events and travels. We do have pics of friends and family at our wedding. I see people sending there life as supporting documents, but so far we have not had a problem. At this time we are aware about gathering proof and merging our lives together. It seems like some of this stuff is a "catch 22" but it is not worth the stress....Just do your best and good luck :)

thanks for sharing.. it stress me a lot... we are not a cheesy couple.. and i didnt expect that we need to save this convo for bona fide evidence. and im using a low tech cellphone (dont have screen shots)... we only have pictures and the last thing that i save is the receipts for wedding preparation...

Hi, we didn't send any chat or call logs when we submitted our I-130 packet to USCIS. We just sent the following and we didn't had any problems with it:

Pictures of US, Pictures with Family members, Wedding pictures

Bank Certification of Joint Account

Flight and Hotel Itinerary for Honeymoon Trip

His Flight Itinerary when he visited me

Best of luck! :)

Don't worry about the sms/call history, just enclosed other bona fida proof. We sent proof of all trips to see each other, photos and two affidavits. Approved by USCIS without issue.

Maybe start saving/printing sms/call history from now on, so you have for the interview. That's what we realized at NVC and started doing for the interview.

***** Moving from CR-1 to DCF forum as OP will file for her visa locally *****

Yes, your husband can file directly with the embassy before he leaves, and then you can finish the process and join him. This will be much faster than him filing in the USA. Here is some info in our Guides on how and what to file: http://www.visajourney.com/content/dcf
