I am in 31 days of AP and this is the reply I received from the embassy. I'm getting discouraged especially because it's very different from the reply you received, YankeeFoxtrot.

The Immigrant Visa unit has received your documents and now your case is currently under consideration. Please understand that our office is doing our best to review cases as quickly as possible. The cases are reviewed in the order they were received and it may take up different processing time depending upon each individual applicant’s situation. Please be advised that we cannot inform you how long it will take, but we will do at our best and will keep you informed if any other documents needed. Applicant is strongly recommended to refrain from making any travel arrangements before he/she receives the visa in hand.

Your continued patience is highly appreciated while we exercise the due diligence in adjudicating your visa case.

Best Regards,

Immigrant Visa unit

@amebed, we were asked for additional documents such as Cenomar and joint sponsors, documents was received on 1/05 and changed to "issued" 1/11 which is only 3 business days and it's Manila embassy so I'm not sure about the embassy in Bangkok. I actually called the embassy directly and ask email NVC to get them to follow up. Try doing that and see how it goes. I wish you the best of luck. I know it's frustrated but don't lose hope. Keep me posted!!

Thanks for the encouragement - ISSUED as of Jan 22. That was 34 days of Administrative Processing. Case update on Jan 21, then ISSUED the next day. Expected to wait longer, because I thought it would go AP -> READY -> ISSUED, but directly to ISSUED. Expecting to receive it in the mail no later than Wednesday Jan 27.

Congrats to you Trinitran1453!
