how long does it the i-130 process take?

It also depends on whether you're a USC or resident, and who you are filing for. The 5 months mentioned is just for the NOA2 but then you have the NVC and the embassy which can vary on the US Embassy of the country you are dealing with.

NOA1 - 12/21/15

NOA2 - 04/18/16

NVC Receive - 04/29/16

NVC Welcome - 05/13/16

DS-261 - 05/14/16

AOS, IV PAID - 05/27/16

DS260 done - 06/10/16

Case Transferred to US Embassy in Riga Latvia at the end of October.

If you really want it, you'll find a way!

I have 3 questions regarding the i-130 form.

1. when putting the place i was born can i abbreviate the country name? i was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil can i put BR or BRA to make everything fit?

You don't wanna put the short forms. If you run out of space, use another paper. Btw, there are separate boxes for the city and the country Brazil don't fit in the country box???

2. in Section C Number 17 it says to list spouse and all children of relative. My wife doesn't have any children, so i don't have to put her name is that correct?

This section is to list the spouse and children of the beneficiary (your wife). Since you are her spouse, put your name.

3. I have to put my spouse's address in Section B: information about relative correct?

you mean Section C!! If so, YES. Section B is all about you(the petitioner).

And if you're talking about the state of Rio de Janeiro and trying to fit that and Brazil in the country box--if you need to shorten it to fit, I'd sooner shorten the state than the country.

arken is correct. If you have to abbreviate, abbreviate the city. City and country go in separate boxes. Brazil definitely fits in the country box of any immigration form you'll be completing.
