I remember my son who is a teenager was asked to have another xray and this time with a different view. Nurse said they have to confirm something. After a few hours, result came back negative and the pulmo doctor explained to him that the first xray was a bit hazy. Dont worry Jempot, you will be fine. You will be ask to have a different chest xray view. Emotera, please let me know if you were given vaccines. Btw, have they found a scar on your xray?

hey guys, its been awhile..I too was asked to do a second xray but it was on the second day of my medical and not on the end of my culture result..I just want to share this also, when I arrived here in the US, they send me a letter to follow up on the health center, they want to conduct their own medical for the tb test.. I had an xray and tb blood test.. my xray was normal and no abnormalities.. also, I went to a known hospital here in the US and had an xray for second opinion, and it came out negative.. So, now I don't know if whats wrong with st lukes xray! Also, had a chance to talk to some immigrants on the health center regarding their xray in st lukes, but after they were xrayed again here in the US, they were normal.. Does it mean slec has an advance technology for their xray? I dont think so.. they're just prolonging the agony of immigrants tryinh to be with their family!

i called today but still no result, they told me maybe it will be ready tomorrow and now they are saying i will redo my xray depending on the result of the sputum(which is most likely gonna be negative ) if so it is negative.. i will not need to redo xray again.. i hope so.. thanks for cheering me up!

called again today and told me result are ready tomorrow and we can go there, but why are they not telling the result? it should be negative since we didnt get any calls for the entire 2 months, and they told me we have to do an xray to see if there is any improvement from the previous one. Im hoping everything is all good tomorrow

Hi Jempot! Im sure your result is negative and about your xray, just give them what they like anyways your sputum culture is the gold standard if it is negative then you are good to go.

Hello, spent the whole day at slec yesterday ask me to redo my xray they asked for my ct scan which i did to work up my pulmo while waiting for 2 mos, they said 3 doctors need to read my xrays and ct scan so waited till 4:30 did not get the clearance today and told me to come back on monday for it. But sputum is negative looks like good news cause they said theyll be referring release to their head.. So yeah i should be good to go on monday and have my interview on wednesday

Hi Benito123! We just came from Slec. We went there at 8 am and got the result at 11:30 am. They gave us 3 vaccines (tdap, mmr and varicella).

Hi Emotera thanks for the reply. Looks like they really lack of supplies at the time I was about to get my vaccines. Good for you, you dont need to go to community health office anymore for immunizations.

Hi Emotera! I am under K1 and the interview was not that tough compared to my recent tourist visa.

I prepared my papers very well and of course with the help of Rapid Visa also, our agency. My NBI and my CENOMAR are all up to date. I changed my name a year ago and I got all my records with my old and new name. CO was surprised I got so many NBIs and Cenomars hehe. They just asked me where we met and how. Since my documents are all okay they approved my application. When is your interview? While waiting for your appointment you can now schedule your CFO seminar.

Hello, after all the long waits and delays we finally had the medical exam completed and cleared from TB now tomorrow will be our interview and we are ready for it! God bless everone

Hi everyone! just finished the interview! and it all turned out ok. except for the fact that SLEC has not forwarded the medical results to the embassy, now they are waiting for the to forward hopefully this afternoon according to them. and they advised us to wait for 2GO to get our visa. that means were approved! why is it that SLEC is always on our way! should we be worried about this?
