Hi ken, you will be leaving yoday, right? Have a safe travels! Jempot pneumonia can shadow a person's TB and that is the reason they have to treat pneumonia first to conclude if a person has TB. Same thing happened to my son. He has pneumonia when he was 9 and then after antibiotic treatments we were asked to do xray again. I asked the doctor and that is what he said to me. I am just wondering why slec needs repeat xray if the person will undergo culture anyway.

Yes that is what i dont understand, i provided medical certs and doctors note from my nephrologist about my case, my only concern right now is why should i take another xray after 2 mos if they already knew my case as a dialysis patient. i have no history of pneumonia etc.. my abnormalities on my 1st xray was just becoz i undergo dialysis treatment every other day and nothing else.

That is their protocol jempot and we need to comply. They dont accept anything other than their results. Dont worry you will be fine. Prayers right now are our powerful weapon.

Hi everyone! I just went to slec today with my two sons. I got my eldest son's cd and mine my youngest dont have xray, but they did not issue my envelop. When I asked the nurse why they did not give me my sealed envelop she said they will be the one who will forward it to the US EMBASSY is it true?

Yes that is true. SLEC does not always allow hand carry of the medical records.
