AOS Fee Paid- IV Application not invoiced yet

Hello all,

I have just paid my AOS fee online and am wondering if I should move on and start the AOS paperwork. I have not yet received my NVC welcome letter (thinking it is caught up in the post since I am living in Argentina- unreliable,) so I got all my information over the phone with NVC. I want to get a head start on things and start the AOS process, but is it necessary to wait for my official letter in the mail? Also, IV Application fee is at zero balance- will it become available once I send in AOS paperwork?? I thought those fees were typically paid together. I'm basically wanting to know in what order I should continue with the process.

You don't need to wait for anything in the mail. If you haven't already done so, give the NVC an email address of record, once they have that, all communication will officially be done electronically.

The IV fee being made available is tired to submission of the DS-261, not the AOS package.

IV fee will be available when your DS-261 is added to the case file. About a month.
