Any address prior to your 16th birthday is irrelevant to the adjudication of your application. Therefore, they won't care about where you lived between 1982 to 1998.

If you want to be transparent about it, print out your completed DS-260, highlight the inaccuracy and point it out at to the officer during your interview.

The NVC won't give a damn about it, so don't even bother wasting your time with them.

First, relax.

Second, relax.

Third, really relax.

As has been stated before, they only care about your last 10 years of residence--so from January 2006 to present. Your police report would list residences from age 16 on but Pakistan is one of those countries where the police report is unreliable. As long as the information is correct from 2000 onward I would not worry about it. If asked at the interview explain it was a typing mistake and you realized that you had made the mistake outside the asked for dates--previous 10 years--and see how the IO handles it.

Now go relax and have a few drinks.

С новым годом. (HAPP NEW YEAR!!)
