i wrote in form g325a that i started living in my present address from march 2009.This is my family home.I did study from another city for 4 years from august 2005 to august 2009 .So my police report says i lived in that city till august 2009.Issue is that there is overlap of around 4 months when i lived in both cities(i used to travel to hostel to home ).Anyone plz tell what to do now?

With that kind of attitude you probably won't get much help now. Nobody owes you anything.

you dont need a police report anymore. it is not in the requirements.

A) weekends are slow, especially before a huge holiday

B) above poster is correct. No police certificate is needed for Pakistan as the DOS has deemed them unreliable.

Nobody is paying anyone to reply your questions. So be polite.

According to NVC you don't need police certificate, and I myself successfully passed through this process without a police certificate.

You have only one residence--this is the place you call home and will return to after an extended stay. College students that are still living with their parents, but are attending a university in other city have only one place they call their residence--their parent's house as that is where they expect to return to after attending university. It sounds like the police report lists all places you have ever lived for an extended period of time. I would put the address of your residence and if asked explain the situation that you had two places you lived at, but the one you listed on the form was your residence. This is not that big of an issue in the grand schemes of this process.

Why would you both to write down that time frame 1994 to 2000. You are to list where you have lived for the last 10 years. so 2005 and onward is all that's needed nothing before that unless you have lived at same address since 2004 or since birth.

You are making this more confusing then it needs to be.

You are required to disclose addresses , but police certs is only

required from countries you have lived in over 6 mths since you

turned age 16

6 months if you are a citizen or resident of the country, but 1 year if you're not. It's also not for every country as some don't give what is considered reliable by the DOS.

Pakistan is one of those places where a police certificate is not needed.
